Here are some of the questions you will be asked:

• Does your foundation use a one-step proposal process, rather than requiring applicants to submit a full proposal after an initial screening process?
  
• How many individuals will use the software?
  
• Can you work with template letters with limited fields allowing individualized modification for grant contingencies, payment schedules, etc.?
  
• Do you have printed foundation stationery and envelopes or do you want to incorporate letterhead and customized envelopes into your software?

Yes. Custom features can be added, including additional letters and report formats, coordination with Microsoft Word and with Excel spreadsheets, creation of file folder and mailing labels. The addition of custom features will be billed at custom programming rates. Call for an estimate.

FoundationFile has proven to be especially useful for families working without professional staff and for foundations with small staffs. No outside computer expertise is necessary. The software requires only basic keyboard skills and the ability to follow the simple directions in the accompanying user's manual. Familiarity with Microsoft Word or other word processing software is helpful.

• FoundationFile staff are available to train your family or staff by telephone or on-site at your computer stations. Training costs will be quoted at the time of purchase and will depend on the number of software users, level of expertise of software users, and location of training.
  
• FoundationFile staff are on call during regular business hours to answer questions about the software.
  
• FoundationFile is designed to install simply with FileMaker Pro software. Most users will find the written instructions simple to follow.
